I am proud and honored to have been named the new principal of Pequea Elementary School. Having heard such wonderful things about the students, staff, parents and community, I am eager to get started and even more excited to meet each and every one of you when we open our doors in August.
I grew up in Lancaster County and attended Millersville University to complete my undergraduate degree in Special Education. I also hold a Middle School Math degree and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
Before becoming a part of the Penn Manor family, I worked at Warwick High School, Lebanon Middle School, and at the Spring Grove Intermediate Building. During my tenure at Spring Grove, I also spent time as their Instructional Support Teacher and was responsible for four of their elementary schools. I then joined the Penn Manor School District as a Math teacher at Manor Middle School. Since 2009, I have served as the Assistant Principal and the Academic Support Teacher at Marticville Middle School.
This will be my 20th year working in the wonderful world of education and I look forward to being a part of the Pequea family. Please feel free to stop in to introduce yourself. I encourage you to contact me at 464-3831 if you have any questions, comments and/or concerns that you would like to share. I look forward to seeing you in August.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
