Science Expo & Celebration of Learning

Pequea Families,

Captain Murray, the Pequea Elementary Staff, and students would like to welcome you to board the SS Pequea STEAM boat for an educational showcase on Thursday, May 16 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics with our students and staff. Board the STEAM powered SS Pequea and view the many creative and innovative projects.

Tables will line the hallways of Pequea Elementary School with the students’ work. Families, friends, and community members will be able to view the students’ hard work in language arts, science, technology integration, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Students may also showcase projects from Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, or projects they created at home for fun.

Our Science Expo will also be held that evening in the cafeteria for students in grades K-6. Click here to download and print a registration form. Scientists in grades K-6 will showcase their experiments and knowledge of the scientific process. Scientists may submit an individual entry, work with another scientist, or work in small teams. They may also collaborate across grade levels. Tired of the boring tri-fold display boards that lack creativity? Scientists are encouraged to be creative in presenting their information!
