Celebrating reading
is something we’re needing
this winter has been bleak
so the Goodness Gorillas organized a spirit week!

Monday, March 3 – Seuss Character Day: Students are encourage to dress like their favorite Seuss character.

Tuesday, March 4 – Foxiest Sock Day: Students are encourage to wear crazy socks! This idea is from the book, Fox in Socks.

Wednesday, March 5 – Mustache Day: Students are encouraged to wear a mustache like the Lorax from the book, The Lorax.

Thursday, March 6 – Greenie Grinch Day: Students are encouraged to wear green like the famous Grinch from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Friday, March 7 – Crazy Hat Day: Students are encouraged to wear a crazy hat like The Cat in the Hat from the book, The Cat in the Hat. Pequea students and staff are also encouraged to bring in a monetary donation for the non-profit Heavenly Hats Foundation, which donates brand new head wear to cancer patients and hospitals all around the United States. Since the founding of Heavenly Hats in 2001, they have been able to donate over 2,000,000 brand new hats to cancer patients of all ages nationwide. The class with the most donations will earn a special prize from the Goodness Gorillas!
