This year’s school supply drive has been shaken up a bit by two more local businesses; Customs Classics and Kahn’s Auto Repair will be joining Roberts Automotive in a race to fill up their super-sized trash cans. Help us win this friendly competion by dropping off school supplies at 3846 Columbia Ave, Mountville, PA 17554 until Sept. 5, 2014.
Back to school supplies to be collected for YWCA Lancaster and county schools
LANCASTER (PA) – Students in need of back to school supplies at YWCA Lancaster and several county schools will find a friend in local businesses that are collecting much needed items to help them start off the new school year ready and prepared.Joel Herzog from Customs Classics, Jeff Kann from Kann’s Auto Repair, and PJ Roberts from Roberts Automotive have teamed up to gather school supplies to be distributed to students in the YWCA Lancaster School Age Child Care program and to students in need at Pequea, Conestoga and Central Manor elementary schools in the Penn Manor school district.
Bob Kline from River Valley Disposal is supplying three toters (extra-large trash cans) to each participating business in which to deposit the school supplies. Supplies can be dropped off at Customs Classics at 19 Stone Hill Rd, Conestoga; Kann’s Auto Repair at 3002 Shiprock Rd., Willow St.; and Roberts Automotive at 3846 Columbia Ave., Mountville.
The business owners are making this school supply drive a friendly competition among the three of them to see who can collect the most supplies. Items in need are pens, pencils, erasers, loose leaf note paper, notebooks, binders, crayons, pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, glue sticks, and more.
