Pequea Families,

Since school is now closed for Monday, January 12, you can sing the words below with your student to the tune of “Deck the Halls” to make sure they’re dressed properly for the cold weather this winter. We want to make sure our students are warm as they wait for the bus and participate in outside activities at school. Tis the season to be freezin’!

Tis the season to be freezin’
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Bundle up and keep on readin’,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Don we now our warm apparel,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Sing along with this winter carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Hats and gloves are important to wear,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
They keep you warm in the chilly air.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Check the temperature on the TV,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Dressing in layers is the key,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Fast away the winter passes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Keeping warm our lads and lasses,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Dressing for the winter weather,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Thanks for singing along with the song! It’s extremely important that our students are dressed appropriately for the winter temperatures. Students should dress in layers to stay warm. Hats, winter coats, gloves/mittens,  scarves, and socks provide warmth for the students on cold days. Tis the season to be freezin’, and we don’t want our students sneezin’!
