Car Rider Reminders & Procedures

Morning Drop-Off

  • Please make sure your child is ready to exit the vehicle independently upon arrival.
    • If you need to get out of the vehicle with your child for any reason, please find a parking spot in the lot to park.
    • If your child takes longer getting out of the vehicle, it is recommended to pull up to the top parking lot sidewalk and your child can walk down the sidewalk to the door.
  • Please pull up farther in the line to prevent a long line out the parking lot into the roads. Please try to close the gaps (as much as safely possible) between you and the car in front of you.
  • Please do not drop students off before 8:45 AM unless they are eating breakfast. Students eating breakfast may arrive as early as 8:30.
  • Please stay in a single file line and do not pull around other vehicles, unless directed by the teacher on duty.
  • Please be patient and mindful of other families in the drop off line.

Afternoon Pick-Up

  • Sometimes we have to make a double line to accommodate the number of vehicles picking students up and to ensure that we keep our line from impact traffic on Millwood Rd., please be patient with us and know that we are moving as quickly as possible.
  • Sometimes a student may not be at the car rider door to load so we may have to ask you to pull around to the end of the sidewalk so we can keep the remainder of dismissal moving.
  • If you need to assist your student with getting buckled, we ask that you please pull over into a parking space to do so and not do it in our dismissal line.
  • Please pull up farther in the line to prevent a long line out the parking lot into the roads. Please try to close the gaps (as much as safely possible) between you and the car in front of you.
  • Please stay in a single file line and do not pull around other vehicles, unless directed by the teacher on duty.
  • Please be patient and mindful of other families in the drop off line.
