Pequea is CELEBRATING!
Our Kindergarten students joined their houses this week! Be sure to ask them about their house and see if they can tell you what their house means.
Amistad - Spanish for FRIENDSHIP
Awali - Swahili for ORIGINALITY-CREATIVITY
Azim - Turkis for PERSEVERANCE
Hana - Hawaiian for SERVICE
Our students are working hard and learning many things across all environments. This week, art classes are focused on contributing and adding to our Growth Garden! Ask your grades 1 - 6 students what they did to contribute!

Welcome to the 2023-2024 Year!
We had a great first day at Pequea Elementary! With the new year we welcomed 45 Kindergarteners and 21 new students in grades 1-6. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of our new families. Lastly, welcome back to all of our returning families. We are happy you are a part of Pequea!
Today we had the opportunity to review our building expectations and prosocial behaviors to ensure a successful year. It is our goal to partner with our families and work collaboratively to ensure each and every individual student grows academically, socially, and emotionally. This aligns with our Penn Manor mission statement: The Penn Manor community will work collaboratively to help students define and achieve their academic and life goals.
Please take a moment to review our Family Welcome Packet and explore our elementary handbook, Pequea House System, and our Pequea Standards of Excellence.
We look forward to a great year!
